Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her works. She advocates animal rights. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in a family of artists located in New York she wished to work in the field of art. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition along with an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world in just three movies. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
