Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous success and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
