Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was November 16 the 16th of November, 1958. In the 1980s she began her professional career, and was recognized as Siobhan Ryan's character on the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. The most well-known of her roles is her performance as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) as well as the TV film Immortality (2015). McCain graduated from the Phoenix Country Day School as also Xavier College Preparatory, a private Catholic school for girls that is all girl. In 2007, McCain graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the field of Art History at Columbia University. The year after, she joined as co-host on the daytime show The View, which she was host until 2021. In recognition of her efforts, she earned 4 Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain began writing a weekly column for the Daily Mail after leaving The View. McCain wrote four books including Dad John McCain (2008), My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A Love letter to Freedom and Michael Ian Black (2012) as well as Bad Republican (2022).
