Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she coaches athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. She came in second place in the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. The popular athlete is the first woman who won the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. The first time she competed, she did very well and finished in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. But she did not achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. The following year she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie has an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among other. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand viewers where her diet videos, family as well as travel videos are posted.
