Luciana was raised to be a child in Rome with her grandparents - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian Army officer, and her maternal grandmother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's mistresses. It's not clear if there are any siblings. Luciana is the sole woman who graduated from her high school in Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering there. Luciana started out as fashion models after only two years. The direction of her career was changed afterwards, when by pure luck, she was offered her first acting role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey is an actress who was her husband at first. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace in 1960 following their married. Luciana got custody when the couple broke up a few years after Charles was born. Luciana enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Tony Athony. He was the actor and producer of films. Tony was inspired by Luciana's role in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
